Thanks Alan, kind words indeed.
Its all fiction, but hopefully its also true. I started coming down to
Melbourne from Sydney every couple of weeks from march onwards wandering
around looking for my characters and taking photos of the sites. I was
looking for the sort of people who would post to this sort of thing and
I found them in the city streets, behind shop counters, etc. Then after
coming up with an outline of the sort of things they were going to
describe I went to the sites and made a lot of notes about all the
things I would notice just by being there and then wove this material
into the posts. A couple of the posts I wrote from start to finish in
the location, the drug experience in the Misty bar was one of these.
